sometimes I wonder....

So last week for some reason I decided to inflict pain on myself. A post while back I talked about taking the 3 dogs and 2 kids out to do pictures, and again I am not a patient person, I know this, it is what it is. So on Wednesday I decided to take 4 dogs and 2 kids out to do pictures... I should have brought along a bottle of tequila, some for me the kids and the dogs. YIKES!!! But I got it done with only two incidents (Storm chased a low flying goose, thank goodness for good recalls and I got her back quick, probably should have let the goose kick her butt and may be she wouldn't like birds anymore, and Miss Ava decided she wanted to swim in the river) But I got some nice pictures. The point in all of the madness was to get some pictures to put up in Lexi's room of Clover.

Another busy week ahead, dance pictures today, working lots for me, and next week is dance competition again.

its been crazy... but we've made it!

I have been horrible at blogging... I have been horrible at returning phone calls and emails, cleaning my house, getting to places on time, I have just been running a day behind for the last couple weeks, but I think I have finally caught up.

DANCE!!!!!

Lexi had her first dance competition April 12th and 13th in Lethbridge. Her little group did WONDERFUL! They came out of the weekend with 3 gold medals, they were runner up for high score in their division and their dance teacher won an award for Judges Choice Ballet Performance for our girls dance! What a way to kick off competition season. And Lexi has caught the competition bug and she wants to keep doing this, I am not surprised, Lexi on stage in front of everyone is her dream come true. She even wants to do a solo next year. Then over this past weekend we had a dance competition here in Medicine Hat and the girls came out with 2 golds and a silver as well as Outstanding Group for their ballet, Most Promising for their Jazz and a choreography award for their jazz. I am getting into the dance mom groove and I am enjoying it a lot!

PUPPY!

Clover's training has been going well. Lexi has been working super hard on sits/downs/stands/stays/waits/touch/leave it and drop it. She is doing very well with Clover, I am very impressed and I think she should start training my dogs too! I love watching them play together, they have a very lovely bond building.

All in all, life has been very good around here. Busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Next dance competition is in a few weeks, we are in Lethbridge again on the the 10th, then the next week is Regina competition, then the weekend after that is our Medicine Hat agility trial. Then we rest for a bit. It is 99 days today until we leave for our big trip!!!! We are getting excited!
